Miller Public School exists to provide the students with a happy and safe learning environment where there is equality of outcomes and individual enhancement leads to the development of a positive self concept. Student welfare is central to all aspects of the school's curriculum. The school continues to receive additional financial and professional development through the Disadvantaged Schools Program which greatly assists the school to focus on improving student literacy skills. Fifty one per cent of students are from a Non English Speaking background. Sport is enthusiastically supported by the whole school community. Many extra curricular activities are provided to promote student participation.
